The timeless wines of the "Tenuta del Castello", born among princes and philosophers
If it is true that Italy is the home of biodiversity and native grape varieties, Calabria is certainly the Italian region that still holds an unexplored heritage in the wine world.
It is a region with enormous potential that has so far lacked investors capable of enhancing its competitiveness. This is why it becomes a case against the trend that of Li.Bo, a Lucanian company of industrial and electro-instrumental supplies, supplier of the largest companies in the Oil&Gas sector. Renato Bocca, founder and patron of Li. Bo, decided a few months ago to take over one of the most historic wineries in Calabria, right on the border with Basilicata: Tenuta del castello.
In the municipality of Montegiordano, in the province of Cosenza, the "Tenuta del Castello" winery overlooks an area rich in ancient settlements, according to tradition also frequented by the philosopher Pythagoras in the Magna Greek era.....
